Dr Laloo played a pivotal role in establishing the UTM Immersive Media Lab, contributing to the advancement of immersive technologies and their applications. She also serves as a collaboration liaison officer, fostering partnerships between UTM and the industry on different projects. In addition to her academic contributions, Dr Laloo holds the position of Secretary for the UNESCO National IFAP Committee Mauritius, highlighting her dedication to promoting Information for All Programme initiatives at a national level.
